Forbidden fruit, but not seedy
Article Abstract:
It is important to be honest about feelings of weakness and awkwardness, according to 19-year-old singer Fiona Apple. She was frequently taunted at school, and finds it strange that she is now regarded as beautiful and has many fans. She has considerable maturity as a songwriter and singer, and her debut album, 'Tidal,' was nominated for a Grammy award. She is keen to show that her feelings are not simply those of a teenager but human feelings to which teenagers have a right.

Article Abstract:
Shaun Ryder first became a celebrity as a member of the pop group 'Happy Mondays,' which had a cult following at the end of the 1980s. He was well known for expressing strong opinions and for not cultivating any real artistic ability at all. He is now with the group 'Oasis,' which is predicted to become extremely popular too. His attitudes have mellowed slightly, and the group's music sounds relaxed and happy.

She is very well read, and this is reflected in the lyrics of her songs. She is keen to be seen as having a deeper personality than other female pop stars, and does not believe in exploiting her sexuality.
