Frank Ward
Article Abstract:
Artist and teacher Frank Ward attended Ipswich Art School from 1931 to 1933, studying under Archibald Ward, Leonard Squirrell and A.W. Bellis. He attended the Royal College of Art from 1933 to 1936, and from 1936 to 1938 studied for a teaching certificate at Goldsmiths' College School of Art. He joined the staff of Wilson's School in 1938, and remained there until 1974, apart from some time during the second world war.

John Kashdan
Article Abstract:
Artist and teacher John Kashdan was born in London, England, in 1917. He attended Charles Genge's classes at the Working Men's Institute in Bethnal Green, England, and was accepted by the Royal Academy. He taught at the Royal Naval College from 1945.

Artist Alfred Cohen was born in Chicago, IL, in 1920. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago before serving in the US Army Air Force during the second world war. He later worked in Paris, France, and London, England.
