Funeral in Novi Sad
Article Abstract:
Three Serbs were killed in Vranjevac, a suburb of Pristina, Kosovo, Yugoslavia, as Nato troops were entering the area and the Serbs were fleeing amid jeering from ethnic Albanians who had come out of hiding. One of the Serbs killed was a policeman, while the other two were soldiers. The Irish Guards officer who was sent to retrieve the bodies believes that they were murdered in cold blood, rather than having been shot because they were looting, as the Kosovo Liberation Army claims. Details are also given of the funeral of Serb soldier Ilija Boban.

Saddam thirsty for UK weapons
Article Abstract:
Many international arms traders visited Iraq during its war with Iran in 1980-1988. These included representatives from the UK, which sold a wide range of equipment during this period. There was officially an arms embargo against Iraq, and it was stated that only non-lethal equipment was being traded. However, investigations have revealed that this was clearly not the case.
