Gate to the last Frontera
Article Abstract:
The city of Jerez, Spain, is well worth visiting. It enjoys a favourable climate, and has a rich history as the birthplace of sherry. There is a great deal to see, as many activities take place on the street. Visitors can take tours of many of the leading sherry houses, including Gonzalez Byass, where there is a series of overground caverns fitted out in wood. The city also has an attractive cathedral and interesting Art Nouveau architecture in its newer streets.
