Got those ol' blues again
Article Abstract:
Self-pity in others is generally a very unattractive emotion, yet almost everyone falls victim to self-pity sometimes. Self-pity differs from pity in that it is dominated by thoughts of self, and is therefore deemed unacceptable. People who are facing really difficult circumstances usually do not experience self-pity, as they find the strength to show courage and dignity when meeting adversity.
