How to avoid a bikini blunder
Article Abstract:
Swimwear manufacturers do not seem to have realized that the vast majority of British women do not conform to standardized measurements. For this reason, it can be very difficult to buy swimwear that fits properly. Women with a large bust should avoid underwired swimsuits and bikinis, unless the wires are in exactly the right place. It is better to choose a vest and knicker set with hidden support. The vest and knicker option is also advisable for women with long or short torsos. Women who are pear-shaped should choose La Perla's one-shouldered swimsuit, which draws attention away from the hips.

The sublime to the ridiculous
Article Abstract:
Some very unusual designs were displayed at the haute couture fashion shows in Paris, France, in Jul 1998. The most interesting designers included Jean Paul Gaultier, who showed knitted rhinestone jumpers and intricately beaded bras, and Belgian modernist designer Josephus Thimister, who made extensive use of calico. Some haute couture can be too extreme, as shown in the work of John Galliano and Alexander McQueen.
