Hallelujah to the good book - the encyclopaedia, that is
Article Abstract:
The world's best-selling encyclopaedia, the 'World Book,' is published in Chicago. It has not sold well in the UK except to the Afro-Caribbean community. Half the company's managers and most of the sales personnel are black. They operate network selling through teams of self-employed workers earning commission only. Poor families realise the value of educating their children by owning encyclopaedias, despite the 500 pounds sterling price of the 'World Book.'

This thing is very hard for both of us
Article Abstract:
The parents of a child suffering from infantile scoliosis can find it very hard to decide whether the child should be treated by using a plaster jacket. If they do decide for this treatment, it can be very hard to obtain, as only a few orthopaedic consultants practice the technique, with others being more in favour of the traditional method of braces. There is still only limited knowledge about the condition, and many children are referred too late.
