On the scent of love
Article Abstract:
It is possible that pheromones, biochemicals which signal each person's sexuality to others, could be used to identify the ideal partner. Latest research has already made it possible to match even extreme types of human pheromone, and a synthetic human pheromone booster has been developed by Dr George Dodd, formerly director of the University of Warwick's Institute of Olfactory Research. He is now looking at a clinical test which could help to diagnose disease.

Win on the swings and roundabouts
Article Abstract:
There is now growing demand from UK collectors for antique fairground art and amusement machines. Such items are becoming increasingly rare as dealers scour showmen's yards, where disused fairground rides are stored. However, this does not mean that prices are rising, as collectors and dealers often make deals privately outside the formal auction setting. Prices only really rise if pub outfitters are interested in a particular item.
