Royal Shakespeare Company Artistic Director Adrian Noble believes that he has been criticized mainly because of his decision to move the company out of London, England, for six months of the year. He feels that critics are opposed to modernization, even though it was vital, in his opinion, to give the Royal Shakespeare Company new energy. He believes that there have been a considerable number of unjustified attacks on the Royal Shakespeare Company's productions and its actors.
