Here comes the crazy man
Article Abstract:
Singer Screamin' Jay Hawkins finds that life in the Ile de la Jatte area of Paris, France, suits him very well. Indeed, he feels that he has found his paradise there. He is now almost 70, but continues to perform and wishes to die on stage. He believes that the French musicians with whom he works should be made to work very hard, and he will not tolerate low standards. His relations with his collaborators are sometimes rather strained, and this means that he cannot plan too far ahead.

Woman on the edge of breaking through
Article Abstract:
Singer-songwriter Billie Myers does not really take her work very seriously, and always expects to have to return to a more mundane job at some point. However, she has already established a presence in the US, and now seems set to become successful in the UK. Her career really began when she met songwriter Desmond Child, who allowed her to use his Miami studio. This brought her into contact with Universal Records. Her debut single 'Kiss The Rain' has entered the UK chart at No 4.
