American style, British fashion, made in Italy
Article Abstract:
Famous English men's outfitters Alfred Dunhill is marketing the 'MGM English' look where nostalgic ideas of English clothes are combined with modern design and manufacture. Many of Dunhill's clothes are made in Italy. Their international appeal may attract more young customers. They are lighter, softer and in more delicate colours. The raiders of the lost art
Article Abstract:
Janet Fitch opened a second jewellery shop at Old Compton Street, London, England to display the work of young designers who use 'found objects' in their work. The jewellery is popular because it is unique and because it recycles material. Michael De Nardo mixes, disguises and sculpts unorthodox items from market stalls and bric-a-brac shops. Julia Cook uses shells and pebbles.
