Hollywood cashes in on family values
Article Abstract:
Family values have started to feature more prominently in Hollywood films. In many cases, Hollywood studios are merging action and violence scenes with scenes in which the main protagonists show a more caring side to their nature. In this way, the audience for a particular film can be broadened. Studios deny allegations that they include elements such as family values simply as a marketing strategy. They emphasize that filmmakers have a responsibility to highlight issues of humanity and morality.
