I wanted to scream at everybody, 'Help me'
Article Abstract:
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system causing muscle weakness, blurred vision, paralysis and spasticity (muscle rigidity). The cause is unknown but it may come from abnormal activity of the immune system. Nuclear magnetic resonance imaging scans the brain for damage. Radio signals stimulated from the patient's tissues by magnetic fields are used for a computer imaging technique. This is used as a diagnostic tool. Injectable steroids and a diet high in unsaturated fats with linoleic acids can help recovery from relapses.
