A gadget to match every outfit
Article Abstract:
The consumer electronics industry has become extremely fashion conscious, with many products such as PCs and mobile phones being marketed on the basis of their image. Manufacturers are seeking to make their products visually inspiring, and are placing strong emphasis on styling. This could be a negative trend, as it is diverting manufacturers' attention away from improving the functionality of their products. Mobile phones, for example, have become colourful and sleek, but are no more useful or usable than they were in the late 1980s.
