Three young boys from the seaside resort of Buncrana, Northern Ireland, were among the victims killed in the terrorist bombing of Omagh, Northern Ireland in August 1998. Oran Doherty, aged eight, James Barker, aged 12 and Sean McLaughlin aged 12, were buried at St Mary's Church, Buncrana, with Sinn Fein leaders Martin McGuinness and Gerry Adams and Ulster Unionist leader David Trimble all attending the funeral. The presiding Bishop called upon the politicians to pursue the peace agreement and instructed the bombers to introduce a permanent ceasefire.

Article Abstract:
Survivors of the train crash near Paddington station, London, England, report that there was a very loud crash, followed quickly by fire and smoke. They struggled to escape from the wreckage, and have strong memories of seeing people who were clearly badly injured. Many of them are still extremely shaken by their experiences. Politicians and officials have promised a full investigation.
