A toast to my surly waitress in Skye
Article Abstract:
Many tourist establishments in Scotland seem to charge high prices for poor service. At the same time, the number of visitors to Scotland has dropped dramatically. It is possible to argue that the decline in Scottish tourism is in fact a good thing, ensuring that Scotland does not become commercialized and forget its history. It is still possible to experience the real Scotland if you are willing to hike across the moors and sleep in a tent.

Following the ghost of Harry Lime
Article Abstract:
A great deal of the filming for 'The Third Man' was undertaken on site in Vienna, Austria. Visitors to the city can take a special tour to see places featured in the film. The film vividly portrays the cold and daily discomfort of post-war Vienna, as observed by Graham Greene himself when preparing to write the novel on which the film was based. It is still possible to see a lot of the Viennese local colour Greene describes.
