How to create your dream home: tell the builder what you want before you move in
Article Abstract:
Housebuilders are becoming increasingly prepared to tailor a house to a purchaser's requirements in order to secure a sale. Agreeing to buy a property at a very early stage brings considerable room for negotiation with the builder about fittings such as tiles, and in some cases even about layouts. It has become common for builders to offer choices in the bathroom and kitchen, and they are prepared to be flexible even with the cheapest new homes.

Riding for a bad fall
Article Abstract:
The UK government is coming under growing pressure to introduce a ban on hunting, and this could have a widespread impact on the housing market in counties where hunting is popular, such as Gloucestershire and Leicestershire. Houses with stables and paddocks may become harder to sell, and these counties will no longer be attractive to people who may in the past have moved there simply in order to be able to hunt.
