'It was the weather that did us.' (Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Neill and Major Ron Foster relive memories of getting stranded in the Borneo jungle)(Interview)
Article Abstract:
It is now a year since Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Neill and Major Ron Foster were lost in the Borneo jungle while on an expedition to conquer Low's Gully. At the time, media coverage indicated that they became stranded because they were incompetent, and they have now responded by talking publicly about their version of what happened. Their book reveals that they faced death extremely bravely, and that they never lost the self-discipline which was a vital part of their training as soldiers.

Cash for quotes: football's latest bung scandal?
Article Abstract:
Many leading footballers in the UK expect to receive payment for giving an interview. This is mainly the result of the actions of tabloid newspapers, which are prepared to pay large sums for exclusive reports in order to boost their circulation figures. Broadsheet newspapers, which generally do not pay for interviews, believe that making payments will eventually ruin the image of the sport.
