Some large companies are recruiting more graduates in Mar 1993 in anticipation of their post-recession needs. Firms where staffing needs are worked out centrally are recruiting, but those where they are determined divisionally are not. Medium and small companies are employing graduates for the first time. Graduates should research the field that interests them and pursue companies they would like to work for, not be off-put by the news and unemployment statistics.
