It's a hanging offence
Article Abstract:
The UK's art collections are currently in a disorganised state, being held in inappropriate places. The Victoria and Albert Museum, for example, is supposed to hold collections relating to the history of design and manufacture, but also has a range of paintings, many of which attract very few visitors. This is also the case with the British Museum, which houses the UK's leading collection of prints, drawings and water-colours. These and other institutions seem to be competing with each other, rather than working together to arrange collections more logically.

Cupid is alive and well ... and hanging out in a wine bar
Article Abstract:
Many professional people are so busy furthering their careers that they reach their early thirties without having met a partner and Adele Gautier decided with some of her friends to organise a singles night in a private room in a wine bar. They circulated a questionnaire first to those they were going to invite and, having analysed the responses, gave each attending the name of three people they matched. They originally planned for 30 but ended with 64 being invited, only three not turning up. At least a dozen couples dated after the event.

Hanging out at The Hamptons
Article Abstract:
Long Island's East Hampton area has attracted many celebrities, who compete with each other to have the most picturesque house. Some fly in landscape architects to create instant English gardens, while others purchase Tudor barns to be converted into living accommodation and others obtain 'historic' trees from elsewhere. The area was first discovered by painters, but has since attracted writes and film stars.
