It's offensive to expect me to support the Hindujas just because I'm Asian
Article Abstract:
It is wrong to imply that those who criticize the Hinduja brothers, one of whom sought the support of former Northern Ireland Secretary Peter Mandelson for his passport application, are attacking all British Asians. It is offensive to assume that all British Asians share the same views and behaviour.

Where do blacks and Asians fit in a devolved Britain?
Article Abstract:
Black and Asian Britons are becoming increasingly concerned about the likely repercussions of devolved government in the UK. They are worried about the way in which devolutionists are using words like 'race' and 'ethnicity' for their own purposes and about the fact that the UK is being presented as made up of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, rather than a large number of smaller ethnically distinct communities. It is important to be aware that strong regional attachments can often promote racism.
