It's seldom where you want it to be
Article Abstract:
Ozone has both positive and negative qualities. It is being increasingly used in industry for its purifying properties. In swimming pools it sterilises the water just as well as chlorine but without stinging the eyes. Ozone is used also to disinfect the water inside power station cooling towers and to neutralise sewage effluent smells at British holiday resorts. A layer of ozone shades the earth from the sun's ultraviolet rays but, situated at ground level, ozone can be harmful, hampering breathing and stunting plant growth.

A cup that really cheers
Article Abstract:
The International Caffeine Workshop in Greece in Jun 1993 found that scientific data proved that caffeine does not cause indigestion, sleeplessness, high cholesterol or bad breath. Worldwide consumption of coffee is 60mg per person per day. Although it raises blood pressure and heart rate at first, it does not affect regular drinkers. Research shows it is impossible to become addicted to it. Caffeine can be removed from coffee with liquid carbon dioxide and superheated water.
