'I've told them that Emma is in heaven.' (reactions in Dunblane, Scotland, to shootings at local primary school)
Article Abstract:
The murder of 16 pupils and a teacher at a primary school in Dunblane, Scotland, has left the local community stunned, unable to understand why a quiet town should have been hit by such violence. Many people are still finding it hard to believe that the shootings actually took place, and are particularly concerned about why the gunman, Thomas Hamilton, had not been identified earlier as being a danger. They now have a strong sense that nothing in life can be relied upon.
