Physician and surgeon Rodney Smith qualified MB BS London in 1937 and then took a salaried House Surgeoncy and went into general practice in Wimbledon, London, England. He passed the examination for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, and in 1939 was appointed surgical registrar at the Middlesex Hospital. He served as a surgical specialist in Italy, North Africa and Yugoslavia during the second world war, and in 1946 was appointed as Consultant Surgeon to St George's Hospital in London, England.

Dr Gordon Latto
Article Abstract:
Medical practitioner and naturopath Gordon Latto qualified at St Andrews University, Scotland, as a doctor in 1935 and began general practice in Southend, England. He developed a busy practice in London, England, and Reading, England, after the second world war. He served at the Nature Cure Clinic in London, England, between 1946 and 1952, and was a strong advocate of a natural, vegetarian diet. He gained great admiration for his caring, listening approach.
