Make euros work for you
Article Abstract:
All high street banks in the UK are offering some type of product based on the single European currency, the euro, even though the UK has opted not to join the single European currency system. Most euro accounts offer interest, but only at a very low rate. Such accounts would be most useful for customers who travel abroad regularly or who own property in another country. Euro accounts will probably not be particularly attractive for most ordinary Britons.

A risky business
Article Abstract:
Those who invest in warrants, a type of geared investment, must be willing to accept a high level of risk. Warrants, securities which give the holder the right to purchase a certain share at a certain price before a specified time in the future, can be traded. They usually cost only a small proportion of the price of the share itself. The warrant has no value if the share price falls below the strike price, or never even reaches it.
