Milly Molly Mandy hits third base (and other tales of feminist confusion)
Article Abstract:
Women's sexual appetites are as large as those of men, and frequently larger, according to feminist author Naomi Wolf. Her most recent work, 'Promiscuities,' is largely autobiographical, looking at the systematic way in which the sexuality of women has been repressed. She rejects the suggestion that personal experience is not a legitimate source of material, and points out that men are brought up to believe that their experience is valuable. She feels that the essence of feminism is that the life of every woman is important.

Farewell fame ... but at least he's got one fan
Article Abstract:
Singer Paul Young was disappointed, rather than bitter, when he was dropped by his record company, East West, in Feb 1998. He was confident that the album he released in 1997 was good, and was therefore quite surprised when it did not sell very well. He accepts that fame is very intangible, and would not necessarily wish to be famous again. He has written enough songs for a new album, but is not yet certain about when, or with whom, they will be recorded.
