Mr Right goes to Washington
Article Abstract:
Independent counsel Kenneth Starr has become a key figure in conservative political and legal circles in the US. He has much in common with President Bill Clinton, but Clinton's election meant that Starr, a Republican, had little chance of entering the Supreme Court. He has attracted considerable controversy during the course of his investigation into Clinton's activities. His supporters emphasize that he has always been legally correct, but accept that he has weaknesses, including limited understanding of politics.

Jasper turns its back on soulless Klan rally
Article Abstract:
A rally held by the Ku Klux Klan in Jasper, TX, attracted very little attention from local people. The town was chosen as the location for the rally because a black man was recently killed there by three white men. The Ku Klux Klan was keen to emphasize that it had no connections with those who are alleged to have carried out the murder. The rally portrayed the Ku Klux Klan as outdated and irrelevant, with a falling membership and weakened by legal battles.
