'Mummy, the Serb says we must take our beds out now.' (Muslims driven out of their homes in Serb-controlled northern Bosnia; series on former Yugoslavia)
Article Abstract:
Many Muslims living in Serb-controlled northern Bosnia are being driven out of their homes. In the town of Dubrava, for example, there are now only 2,000 surviving Muslims, and United Nations officials are making efforts to ensure that their homes are not taken over by Serbs. The Serbs feel that they are justified in taking over the Muslims' homes, as in many cases their own homes were occupied by Muslims. The war has driven many people to behave in ways which they would not otherwise have contemplated.

Archivist of atrocity who lives to fight for justice
Article Abstract:
It is vital that crimes committed against Muslims in former Yugoslavia are properly recorded, according to judge Adil Draganovic, who lost 24 members of his family and survived only by accident. The missing Muslim graves must be found, and those responsible for the murders must be tracked down and prosecuted. He believes that 3,000 Muslims were murdered in Sanski Most, with a total of 10,000 being massacred around Prijedor, which is still under Serb control.

Death by the forces of law and disorder
Article Abstract:
There have been a number of cases of Serb police officers assisting in attacks on Muslims or in the expulsion of Muslims from their homes in Bosnia. They have particularly targeted elderly Muslims or those who have expressed open opposition to Serb activities. In Bosanska Gradiska and Dubrava, for example, there were 18,000 Muslim residents before the outbreak of the civil war, and this has now been reduced to 2,000.
