My, my, Abba may be dead but Fabba are alive and glittering
Article Abstract:
There are up to 12 bands performing in tribute to 1970s Swedish pop group Abba. These include Fabba, which performs more than 200 times a year and has a six-figure annual turnover. The original band split up in 1980, but its music has recently become extremely popular again. This is possibly because anything associated with the 1970s went through a period of being deeply unpopular but tastes are now favouring the 1970s again. The members of Fabba feel that Abba's music has been a subconscious background to the lives of many people since the 1970s.

A miracle just waiting to happen
Article Abstract:
Music is always more important than having a record deal, according to singer Mark Mulcahy, who experienced considerable difficulties after Miracle Legion signed to Morgan Creek Records in 1991. He is now returning to the music scene in the UK through his involvement in the Unbelievable Truth tour. This gives him the opportunity to feature some of the extremely high quality material on 'Fathering,' his first solo album.
