Not in front of the children
Article Abstract:
The 100th anniversary of the birth of Enid Blyton, a prolific writer of children's literature, in 1997 is set to be marked in many different ways. These will probably include special editions of her books, television serialisations and CD Rom tie-ins. However, the first television programme to cover Enid Blyton will actually show her in a much more negative light. It will indicate that she exploited her family, was selfish, ambitious and vindictive and unloving towards her children. Furthermore, it appears that she suffered from psycho-sexual disorders.

What planet are you on?
Article Abstract:
Astrology remains very attractive to large numbers of people, and has become a lucrative business in the UK. It receives particular attention at the beginning of each year, when many people want to know what will happen to them as the year progresses. Newspaper publishers are very strongly aware that astrology is of great interest to ordinary people, and therefore give a lot of space to various predictions. It does not seem to matter that these predictions are extremely vague and general, and are often no more than common sense.
