Now Mandelson admits personal role in Dome sponsor's bid for British passport

Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Peter Mandelson has been accused of seeking to conceal the extent of his involvement in helping wealthy Indian businessman Srichand Hinduja to obtain a British passport in 1998. At that time, Mandelson was minister with responsibility for the Millennium Dome, to which Hinduja and his brother donated 1 million pounds sterling.
