Article Abstract:
The Walthamstow area of London, England, is not one which has traditionally attracted many visitors. However, it in fact has a number of attractive buildings. It is particularly worth visiting the area known as Walthamstow Village, where sights include Ancient House, a 15th century 'hall' house, small cottages and the mid-Victorian Nag's Head pub. The area is also famous as the childhood home of Victorian artists, designer and poet William Morris.
