Welcome to expatriate country
Article Abstract:
Many multinational companies are becoming firmly established in the south of England, and this is leading to strong demand for housing for expatriate managers. There is particularly strong demand for housing close to American schools. Many multinational companies pay at least part of the rent, and this is becoming increasingly common as rents rise rapidly. It is now not unusual to have to pay rents of more than 10,000 pounds sterling a month.

Raising the roof about bad loft extensions
Article Abstract:
Anyone who is considering having their loft converted into living accommodation should take the trouble to consult a structural engineer. It is important to be fully aware of the need to respect the roof structure. It can be a false economy to employ a building firm willing to contravene building regulations and professional advice. Poor quality work may lead to serious structural problems which could cost a great deal to repair.
