One man went to mow ...
Article Abstract:
The only way to obtain a perfect lawn is through constant rolling and cutting, according to Malcolm Hemley, an expert on old lawnmowers. He owns 36 lawnmowers made by Dennis, a company which is more usually associated with dustcarts and fire engines. He gives advice to owners of old lawnmowers from across the UK, and believes that he knows more about old Dennis lawnmowers than the current owners of the company. He is able to handle old lawnmowers, many of which are large and apt to break down, with great ease.

Bare breasts, smug faces
Article Abstract:
The Big Green Gathering is a festival for New Age environmental activists lasting five days, which takes place in Greenhenge, a hill on the Salisbury Plain, Wilstshire. The local people do not like the festival, attended by as many as 5,000 people at once, but the people are careful not to leave litter. Almost all arrive by car, and their accommodation is in tents. There are lots of things for sale, posters, and people promoting sharing and love, but no-one appears to be doing anything useful.

Shopocalypsenow
Article Abstract:
Superstores in both the UK and the US are now very carefully designed to encourage customers to spend more than they had originally intended. It is now well known, for example, that it takes several seconds for customers to notice goods after they enter the store, so it is not worth putting high value goods right by the entrance. Sales tend to rise if customers can touch an object, and promotions can play a key role in lengthening the amount of time people spend in a particular store.
