Article Abstract:
Fashion photographer Juergen Teller emphasizes that he spends a lot of time editing his pictures, even though they may appear to the casual observer to be merely snapshots. He is not interested in fashion itself, but rather in what a person is wearing and in what attitude a woman has. He uses clothes to make a character work, and always works closely with style director Venetia Scott, with whom he has a seven-month-old daughter. His work is currently being exhibited at the Photographers' Gallery in London, England.

The connoisseurs who run the country
Article Abstract:
The UK's Government Art Collection, set up in 1898, is contained in a secret location in Soho, London, England. It has more than 11,500 separate items, with the best quality works going to the most prominent officials. It can call on a number of sources of National Art Treasures to supplement its own collection. The selections made by individual politicians can reveal a lot about their personality. At present, paintings of Oliver Cromwell are popular, as are modern abstract works.

Prose is another country
Article Abstract:
The publication of 'Bodies of Water,' a short story collection, represents the fulfillment of a long-standing ambition, according to singer and songwriter Rosanne Cash. She has gained a strong reputation as a country singer, but has always wanted to write. She began singing at the age of 18, and continues to enjoy performing, but still gets very nervous about it. Her songs and stories tend to deal with the same subjects, including motherhood and ageing.
