Riddle as hundreds of 'disappeared' turn up
Article Abstract:
It is not certain why the Serbs have permitted a considerable number of ethnic Albanian men to leave Kosovo, Yugoslavia. The men had been held in Smrekovnice prison near Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, for around a month after having been captured while trying to flee Kosovo. They report that they were badly treated by the Serbs, with many having been beaten. Some now plan to join the Kosovo Liberation Army.
