Grand old man of the left tries to shame the shameless
Article Abstract:
There is very little difference at all between Bob Dole and Bill Clinton, according to author and radio broadcaster Studs Terkel, who has for many years been known for being critical of key public figures. He believes that Clinton has become a very right-wing Democrat, reflecting a wider trend for members of the left to move towards the right. He regards US politicians as shameless people who have no idea of the meaning of civil behaviour.
