Many British people believe that almost all Americans are obsessed with fitness. In fact, this is not really the case at all. There are many fat Americans who are proud of their bodies, and do not feel the need to hide themselves away. There are now many services aimed at fat people, such as airlines which offer two seats for the price of one, and fat people are generally portrayed positively in the media.
