Sending comedy into orbit
Article Abstract:
Oxford graduate Angus Deayton is a presenter, sidekick and sitcom bit-player who has been working at BBC Radio Light Entertainment for years. He became a writer and presenter of the BBC TV quiz show 'Have I Got News For You' and won an award in the 1991 British Comedy Awards. His show 'KYTV' parodies BBC, ITV and TV-am. It is a mixture of sitcom and sketches, adapted from the radio show 'Radio Active'. He feels scriptwriting is wordy and scholarly, like essay-writing.

Master of cool
Article Abstract:
Documentary maker Nick Broomfield has attracted considerable controversy with his confrontational style. He has often been so aggressive with the subjects of his documentaries that they have turned on him, and frequently shows himself as the subject of such an attack. He does not feel that he has to defend his approach, and shows little respect to others interested in the documentary art.
