Serb attacks pile on the misery
Article Abstract:
The recent attacks by the Bosnian Serb army on United Nations observation posts in the eastern Muslim enclave of Zepa have cast considerable doubt on the credibility of the United Nations operation in Bosnia. The Bosnian Serbs have now captured the whole of the 'safe area,' where around 16,000 civilians still live. Many of the 40,000 people who were living in Srebrenica are still missing after the recent Bosnian Serb move to separate men of fighting age from women and children.

Croatia may force collapse of UN mission
Article Abstract:
The United Nations peace-keeping mission in Croatia has almost reached the point of total collapse. Clashes between the Croatian army and the secessionist Krajina Serbs are expected to get worse, and the United Nations, already under great pressure in Bosnia, could be forced to withdraw from both Croatia and Bosnia. The Croats now seem confident of being able to break the rebel Serbs' hold on the Knin region of southern Croatia before the end of 1995.
