Left to their own devices
Article Abstract:
Many children are too frequently left unsupervised to find entertainment for themselves and for other children. In these circumstances, they often gain access to technology which is too old for them, such as violent video games or films. Parents should be aware of the suspected ability of technology to interact more immediately with children's imaginations than any other medium. It is also important to consider whether it is necessarily a good thing for children to spend a lot of time with other children.
