An odd couple close their joint account
Article Abstract:
Lloyds Bank has recently been forced to pay damages of 77,500 pounds sterling to Julia Verity and Richard Spindler, who claimed that their financial difficulties were the result of poor financial advice from the bank. They took out a bridging loan from Lloyds Bank, but the collapse of the property market caused them to have to sell at a loss. Their relationship and their health suffered, and they had to change their lifestyle. They are now to separate, as Richard is considerably younger than Julia and wants to start a family of his own.
