And they called it peace
Article Abstract:
Israel's decision to suddenly make new demands which the Palestinians will have to meet if it is to withdraw its troops from occupied Arab land has effectively robbed Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat of his remaining power. By seeking to retain the support of the US and ensure that Israel goes ahead with its next withdrawal of troops, Arafat has lost any opportunity to bargain over the Palestinian charter. It is now clear that the Oslo and Wye agreements destroyed any Palestinian hope of a just peace.
