The possibility of the new US administration taking a more relaxed approach to migrants entering the country from Mexico is discussed. There may be a shift towards a strategy of allowing Mexicans to work legally in the US on a seasonal or short-term basis.

There has been police activity in at least eight different countries as the investigation into the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon begins. There is growing evidence that those responsible for the attacks used false identities, disguises and false passports.

The sense of loss is felt in the little things

There is a deep sense of shock across the US following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. Many businesses have closed temporarily, along with schools and government offices. Almost everybody knows of somebody who perished in the disaster.
