T Arfon Williams
Article Abstract:
Thomas Arfon Williams was a Welsh poet who was a key member of Cymdeithas Cerdd Dafod, the Welsh poets' society, and he was also the society's treasurer. He trained and worked as a dentist in London, Engalnd, and then moved to Caernarvonshire, later working in Rhondda and Swansea, Wales. He developed an interest in Welsh poetry from 1974, and published three collections of poems between 1978 and 1996. He developed a reputation for skills with a four-line epigrammatic poetry type called the englyn.

Rhydwen Williams
Article Abstract:
Rhydwen Williams was a Welsh auhtor and poet who wrote a trilogy based onhis family and an additional seven Welsh novels after this from 1972 to 1988. The trilogy deals with industrial unrest in Wales, the 1926 General Strike and later economic depression in that country. His family had links with the mining valley of Rhonda, Wales. Williams was also a poet and preacher. He was affected by a stroke after 1981 but still edited a magazine, Barn, to 1986.

Dafydd Rowlands
Article Abstract:
Poet Dafydd Rowlands was born in Pontardawe, Wales, in 1931. He joined the Independent (Congregational) ministry, but later became a teacher at the Garw Valley Grammar School. He was a lecturer in Welsh at Trinity College, Carmarthen, from 1968.
