There are a growing number of television commercials which use imagery which seems to draw on the effects of mind-altering substances. Some observers now feel that television advertising is reflecting states of mind which have been more traditionally associated with substances such as LSD. They feel that these commercials are responding to a growing need among young people for a 'fix' of some kind.
