The 16 million pounds sterling woman
Article Abstract:
Patsy Bloom, founder of pet health insurance company Pet Plan, does not regret the fact that she and business partner David Simmonds sold the company to Cornhill Insurance in May 1996. Building up the company was extremely hard work, and even when it became successful she had little time for other activities. She is now learning to relax, and is enjoying spending money on activities which interest her, such as playing golf. She attributes the success of her business to the fact that she was passionate about the company's product.

Bed and board Howard's way
Article Abstract:
Former Ronson Chief Executive Howard Hodgson greatly regrets the fact that he was asked to resign from the company, which under his influence saw a considerable revival in its fortunes. However, he does not feel any bitterness. He made a great deal of money through the sale of his family's funeral firm, and need never work again. He feels that he is a team player, however, and does not enjoy undertaking projects alone. He seems very proud of his own achievements, and does not indulge in false modesty.
