The Einstein of Ecstasy
Article Abstract:
Alexander and Ann Shulgin are researchers who argue that hallucinogenic drugs are useful for studying the mind. They argue that the drugs should be legalised, though there should be control of their usage, and they should not be given to people who do not have the knowledge to deal with them, not should users drive under the influence of such drugs. Alexander Shuglin worked for a chemical research concern and tested drugs for legal cases before publishing drug recipes, which led to a raid by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

John Major's duty to his Queen
Article Abstract:
Prime Minister John Major makes annual visits to the Queen at Balmoral, Scotland. On his Sep 1992 visit he should advise her about the damage the press has done to the monarchy. Members of the Royal Family who are unlikely to ascend to the throne should be treated differently from those who may. The extended Royal Family are not expected to live to the same high standards. If Civil List payments to them ceased the public would have no right to be concerened. The Queen should pay income tax.
