The money-maker leaves no memorial
Article Abstract:
The late businessman Sir James Goldsmith had a great talent for evaluating business prospects, as was shown in his early business ventures. In the 1960s and 1970s, he became well known for his skills as a financier, showing great understanding of the financial concepts of momentum, valuation and leverage. He used leverage as a way of maintaining control, and was able to control many different business operations by stringing companies together. He entered politics towards the end of his life, but found that his skills were not suited to politics.

Why the cinema is still a vital and powerful medium
Article Abstract:
The film industry retains considerable vitality and relevance. Some observers have been very critical of certain films released in 1999, but it can be argued that these films in fact have merit, especially if viewed more than once. One of the best films released recently is 'Life is Beautiful,' which portrays the Holocaust as a farce. This film is extremely well made, presenting profound comments in an accurate and persuasive manner.
