The rising price of student debt
Article Abstract:
It is widely acknowledged in the UK that undergraduates and new graduates are facing unprecedented levels of debt. The average graduate now owes between 6,000 pounds sterling and 8,000 pounds sterling by the time a degree is completed, according to the National Union of Students. Some observers fear that this situation will get worse with the introduction of tuition fees in autumn 1998. Most students receive very little advice about how to handle their finances, and part-time employment is not necessarily readily available.

School fees without pain
Article Abstract:
Most parents who wish to have their children privately educated are unable to meet the high costs involved out of current income. This means that they must choose one of the many investment schemes which allow them to save in advance for the cost of school fees. These can be started even before a child is born, and can greatly ease the financial burden of private education. It is important to chose a company which operates across the whole country and which specialises in school fee planning.
